Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Lahore → Naran

Early departure from Lahore. Drive via Islamabad and Mansehra to reach the Kaghan Valley. Pass through Balakot and Kawai, following the Kunhar River. Stop for lunch in Balakot or Shogran. Arrive in Naran by evening and enjoy the riverside town. Overnight in Naran.

Day 2

Lake Saif-ul-Malook & Lulusar Lake

The main event! Take a 4x4 jeep up to the legendary Lake Saif-ul-Malook (3,224m). Spend time at this magical lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Afternoon drive to Lulusar Lake near Babusar Pass. Return to Naran for the night.

Day 3

Shogran & Siri Paye (Optional Day)

Drive down to Shogran — a beautiful hill station with views of Makra Peak. Take a horse ride up to Siri Paye meadows for stunning panoramic views. Perfect for photography and peaceful walks. Overnight in Shogran or start return journey.

Day 3–4

Return to Lahore

Drive back via Mansehra and Islamabad to Lahore. For a 5-day trip, you can add Babusar Pass (seasonal) as a day trip from Naran, or spend extra time in Shogran. Arrive in Lahore by evening.

  • This is the perfect tour for a long weekend (3 days) or extended trip (5 days).

No, the road to Lake Saif-ul-Malook from Naran requires a 4x4 jeep. We drive you to Naran comfortably, and then a local jeep takes you up to the lake. The jeep ride itself is an adventure!

Is 3 days enough for Naran Kaghan?

Yes! 3 days is perfect for a quick trip covering Naran and Lake Saif-ul-Malook. For a more relaxed pace with Shogran, Siri Paye, and Babusar Pass, 4-5 days is ideal.

What's the best month to visit?

June to September is peak season with the best weather. July-August has the most visitors. For fewer crowds, try early June or September. The valley is snow-covered from November to April.

Can we combine this with Hunza?

Yes! If Babusar Pass is open (June-October), you can continue from Naran to Chilas and then Hunza. We offer combined Naran + Hunza packages. Contact us for details.
